Whatever makes your family tick, I’ll do my best to capture the beauty of it, the giggles, the mess, and the fun
I’m mother to two kids, so I know all about the parental juggle. The struggle is real and I can help you unearth your favourite dress for half an hour so you can document these most important, life-changing years - years you will look back on and smile about.
Another great love of my life is gardening and keeping an allotment. I also enjoy cooking, flower arranging, sewing, singing and going to the pub with friends for a great meal and a chat.
In 2010 The National Portrait Gallery in London acquired a dozen of my portraits of contemporary writers to be held in their collection for the nation.
My photographs have appeared worldwide, on book jackets and in publications from The New York Times, to The Times on Saturday; The Guardian; Granta; and The Listener New Zealand to name but a few.
My first job after College was working as a Family photographer and I really enjoyed this. It taught a lot about the challenges of working with children, babies (and of course the family dog which was always brought along)! But people and portraiture quickly became my favourite type of photography.
