Jemimah’s photographs have appeared worldwide, on book jackets and in publications from The New York Times, to The Times on Saturday; The Guardian; Granta; and The Listener New Zealand to name but a few.
Jemimah has an MA in English Literature; an HND in Photography and an Royal Horticultural Society Certificate in Horticulture. Not content to stop there she has studied pattern cutting at Central St Martin’s; and enjoyed singing in various choirs and most recently a Madrigal group. She loves growing flowers, fruit and vegetables on her allotment for family and friends and one of her most diverse and proudest achievements was winning First Prize for Gin Marmalade in a national competition!
In 2010 The National Portrait Gallery in London acquired a dozen of Jemimah’s portraits of contemporary writers to be held in their collection for the nation, which you can see here.
